Kim, that is amazing detail. Do you know if Jerome has a website with pictures of some of his other work? It reminds me of the work I see coming from the Marquetry Society members in the UK.

I am honored to be included in your very professional blog, I am friends with Silas, who I met at Anderson Ranch many years ago, and Yannick who I took a course with also in New York and visited his studio when I was in England.

I am just finishing my new work for the Texas show in Kerrville, it is a pearwood desk with inlays of pears and pear blossoms, I will try to get some professional shots for you before it leaves. I will send some more shots when I have more time, pleasure to meet you and be a part of your work, Alton.

Su Guay, You can view a selection of Jeff Nelson's make-to-order designs on his website; he's the founding artist at www.hudsonriverinlay.com. There's direct contact information on the site. Hope this helps, Kim

Kim, thanks for another great post. One of the things I enjoy most is meeting some of the great people involved in woodworking. It's been a pleasure working with Asa and Ed at Fine Woodworking, and Linda and Raf at Australian Wood Review have been a real joy to get to know. Working with you on these blog posts has been a treat as well. You all bring an interesting perspective and a real passion to your work.
