Craig Thibodeau’s Art Deco Console with Trompe L’oeil Marquetry

This is the second of my three part series on one of Craig Thibodeau’s recent residential projects. The client’s imagination was sparked by Craig Thibodeau’s collection of hardwood veneers. The rich-grained Pau Ferro and Macassar Ebony evoked the elegant Art Deco furniture of Emile-Jacques Ruhlman. The project brief began as a simple stacked console table that accentuated the waterfall effects of Pau Ferro flowing down all the layers.
